Déjà vu – All over again!!
I am excited to be with Foremost Trading again! I joined Foremost Trading for the first time at the end of 2009 and returned early in 2014 after being away for two years. While away, I obtained my series 65 license to become an Investment Advisor able to manage investment portfolios, provide advice based on investment objectives, risk tolerance and time horizon for each of my clients, all the while providing world class customer service. When the financial planning firm I worked with was sold, it was an easy decision to return to being a broker at Foremost Trading. I have had the good fortune to work in many fields, with many people and in my long professional career, my relationship with Foremost Trading remains my favorite. Their integrity, work ethic, commitment and support remain a standard to be envied.
Helping people is an over-arching life theme for me. Professionally I have been able to serve others in small business public accounting, insurance, mortgages, or currently investing. It is very satisfying to help someone achieve their goals and objectives. I welcome the opportunity to come alongside, get to know you and your investment goals and provide alternative investments that can enhance your current portfolio and help diversify your investments. Managed futures or CTAs can supplement your current investments by providing diversification and potentially increase the overall performance of your portfolio. Keep in mind that adding managed futures to a portfolio cannot protect your portfolio from loss and in fact it can decrease a portfolio’s efficiency. Keep in mind that adding managed futures to a portfolio cannot protect or guarantee your portfolio will not have loss.
What is a CTA?
Managed Futures is an industry comprised of different account managers called Commodity Trading Advisors (CTAs). Investors have long looked to managed futures for diversification to their portfolio because of non-correlation to the stock market.
We currently have hundreds of Commodity Trading Advisors (CTAs) to choose from in our data base and I would be happy to work with you to find the right addition(s) to your current portfolio to ideally enhance the performance of your current investments. Alternative investments like managed futures can have higher returns than more traditional choices but with increased rate of return comes increased risk of loss and it is important to establish what your risk tolerance and investment goals are. While I believe alternative investments can be beneficial, they are however, not for everyone. The best decision is to discover what is best for you.
Definition of Insanity
Continuing to do the same thing over and over expecting a different result is insanity. If your investments are not achieving your expected returns, or you are wondering if there are any alternatives then I would welcome a conversation where we could get to know each other and discover the appropriate actions for you to seriously consider. They can be a great addition to a portfolio. Please give me a call or send an email at your convenience to get started.
